Ron Artest: We all remember this one! While playing for the Indiana Pacers, Artest became involved in an altercation with the Detroit Pistons. When the referees broke up the incident, Artest went for a breather on the sidelines. A well-meaning fan obviously mistook Artest’s exhaustion for dehydration, and tried to quench the star’s thirst with a beer carefully thrown from several rows up. Artest took exception to this, climbed into the stands, and proceeded to beat women and children at random. After everything was over, Artest punched a lost- looking, chunky man in the face as he walked on the court for good measure. Artest received a 73-game suspension.
