The capacity of the Stove is surprising. With a Ne. 8 Stove we cooked tor a party of seven, giviug them broiled oysters, steak, lamb chops, and baked biscuit, im 45 minates, at a cost for gas of 44 cents. On another occasion we gave a dinner in courses of twenty men, the bul of fare as follows : Broiled shad, beef steak, roast quarter of lamb, baked biscuit and coffee; heatmy the watcr for washing the dishes tour times, re-setting the table three times. All was accomplished ia one hour and forty minates, at au expense for gas of eleven cents. This work was all done on one No. 8 stove. All were enthusiastic over the manner in Which the oysters, tish and meats were cooked ; none had experienced any so ter der, juicy, and of ‘such full flavor before.
