We all know that books cost a lot of Honey. ‘ But we still have to buy them, so the money has to go.

The UPEI Student Union offers you a chance to 7 keep some of that money for other things you may need. During the_2nd' 7 semester, the Student Union will operate the STUDENT UNION BOOKS'IORE‘ in the Barn. Here's how it will k:

'Ihe bookstore will sell used books only. If you have a textbook or any other required material for a course, that you would like to sell, sim— ply take it down to the Student Union Offices in the Barn anytima‘before

_January ll. (No term papers, exams, or incrim- inating pictures of pro- fessors suitable for blackmailing please). You will be asked, politely of course, to fill in the following receipt:

Now fort-the other side of the coin. If you are looking for a good deal cn a textbook, the S.U. bookstore may be your only hope of ever find-’ ing one. Our bookstore will be located in the Barn, and will be open from 11:00 am — 1:00 pm and only'fran Thursday, Jan. 5 - Thursday, Jan. 12. That is during the first week of clasSes ohly. If you see a book you want, open it. look at the condition of the book, and check the price.

Please Note: That any books that are priced at $3 or over will be levied a surcharge of 10% to help the Student Union pay the people Wl'D are working. Any books priced at under $3 will be sold for the

Please Note: 'lhat the Student Union will assume . absolutely no responsi— bility for any books that are lOSt or stolen while in the bookstore. We'll have people to watch then, but they're still your re- sponsibility. All we do is try to sell them.

missing, has no obscene little drawings on the in- side, and does not have all the anavers to the mid- term and final exams cir- cled in green ink. We can't inspect every book that comes in, so please ‘ make sure that the book is in acceptable condition before you pay the bucks.

Please Note: that the bookstore is open for 2 hours per day only (11—1) and for the. first week of classes only (Jan. 5—Jan. 12) . Books for sale can ’ be brought down to the Student Union Offices any- time before or after the Christmas break, but books will only be sold on the dates mentioned.

So, the Student Union bookstore is there to use if You want it. It seens like a pretty. good way to make a couple of dollars
