Rural Life Conference I Opens Thursday At S. D. U.

The auto. a Desoto model. crashed through a section of guard rail. sommersaulted over a farm lane. and came to rest in a small gully. The owner was reported to be suffering principally from bruises and shock. The driver was a City resident.

Mr. S. Cousins Dies On Monday

The death occurred very peacefully on Monday August 3th at Beach Grove of Mr. Samuel Cousins in his ninety- third year. Mr. Cousins was born in Alexandra and was the son of .the late Isabel Stewart McLel- glan Cousins and Nicholas Cous- ins. Mr. Cousins lived all his life

many years farmed a very ilarge amount of land. He was active in farming until well along in his eighties.

Mr. Cousins was a man of fine character. He enjoyed a wide circle of friends. Young and old came to his home.
