Funeral of Naval Veteran Yesterday

The funeral of John Henry Mc- Carville took place yesterday morn- trig from the l-Ienneaey Funeral Home to the Church of the Most: I-Ioly Redeemer where Requiem High Mass was celebrated by the Rector. Very Reverend Gregory Munphy. C. s.s. R. Rev Charles McCarthy was present in the sanc- tuary.

The honorary pallbearers, made' up of personnel from H. M.C. S. Queen Charlotte. were as follows: C.P.O. Llewellyn; C.P.O. Pineau; C.P.0. Anderson; C.P.O. MacMil- lain; 13.0. White; P.0. MacLellan. The active pallbearers were; Pat- rick Dennis. Eugene Kelly, Thomas Doyle, William Halpenny, George Dalzlel, Peter Connolly.

Representatives of the Canadian Legion. B.E.S.L. attended the fun- eral. The Legion graveside service was read by Comrade Whistoni Smith. and the last post was sound- ed by Comrade Bugler William. Chalsson.
