He also expressed the hope that a similar celebration could be held during the year in connec- tion with the West River Bridge.

The Second Queens member made reference to the disastrous fire which has struck at Rustico and extended his thanks to the Government for the financial as- ssitancetglven the people of that community.

He noted the strides that are being made in the fishing in dustry, particularly the increase in volume of the catch at Souris and Rustico. In regard to the processing plants, he felt that they should have every em-our agement.

The Association was fortunate in having for their guest of the evening Mrs. E. Ceredini. cap- able leader of the Georgetown Girl Guides. Mrs. Ceredini is do- ing excellent work in directing the girls of varying ages who. inspired by her enterprise and enthusiasm have already shown themselves as an up-and-coming group worthy of the parent or- ganlzation.
