celebrate. Golden Wedding Anniversary

An event of much interest took place on Nov. 8th. when Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gallant of R.us'tico- Ville celebrated their goldenlwed- ding anlnversiiry. They attended Mass and received Holy Commun- ion in the morning, which was fol- lowed by breakfast at their spac- ious and lovely farm home.

Dinner was served in the even- ing to the immediate members of the family and some friends, and speeches were made by several in- cludtng the groom's brother. Mr. Peter Gallant of Egmont Bay. Mr. R. R. Bell and Father Peters who offered grace.

A three-tier wedding cake with its miniature bride and groom and golden emblems adorned the table. which was presided over by their three daughters and Mrs. Alyre Gallant. During the evening a large number of friends called to offer felicitations to this highly esteemed couple, who are still able to enjoy life in its fulness.

To this union were born eleven children, namely Mrs. Stanley Gallant, Mrs. Francis Doucette, Mlrs. Aubln Dolrop. Alyre. Leo. Gus, Andrew. John, Arthur, ur- ban. and Isadore. All were present except Isadore. who was unable to be present.
