conjunction with the Student Union‘is attempting to establish a videotex information system on campus this year. A video com- puter terminal is now located at the foot of the stairs in Robertson Library for the convenience of all passers-by. , The system is based on Telidon technology and'is user interactive. A series of menu pages allows viewers to choose the information
which they wish to access. Any -
student, faculty member, club,
society, etc. who has information
of interest to the' university com- munity is encouraged to use this service. News, bulletings, meet- ings, etc., may be indexed and placed, free of charge, at short notice. Since we are attempting to establish an up-to-date, central information source, we'need the
co—operation of all UPEI staff and .
students. Suggestions and notices may be mailed to: Telidon, UPEI Computer Centre, or left at the Computer Centre, Robertson Library. Information can also be placed by calling 566—0465.

The fifth meeting. of the UPEI- SU Council for 1985-86 is Sunday, October 20, at 7:30 p.m., in Kelley Building 210. All students are invited to attend.
Also, one position is open on the Hiring and Selection Board for the duration of the year. The position must be filled by a non- councillor. Interest students are invited to approach councillors, inform the SU office, or show up at Council on the meeting of October 20.
