The annual meeting of the wom- en's Missionary Society of St. An- drew'shPresbyterian Church; Mon- tague. was held Tuesday evening. .iune 12th at the home of Mrs. W.A. Johnston.

The worship period opened with the call to worship read by Mrs. D.A. Campbell. followed by 8

mn. The theme of the meeting was "Stewardship". with thanksgiving and the Scripture lesson. Matthew 25: 14-30 was read In unison. Mrs. Campbell. and Mrs. James Low- ery led in prayer. Twelve mem- bers and one visitor responded to roll call which was answered with verse of Scripture. The correspon- dence and the minutes of the last meeting were read by the se ret- ar.v Mrs. A.D. A medical Board has been form- ad in connection with the Kings County Hospital. At the Hospital annual meeting Dr. Lorne Bounell. Minister of Health explained tha functions of such a board. It coa- slsts of Dr. McIntyre. as chief of staff with Dr. Bonnell. as see.- treasurer. The main purpose of this board being to consult with the Board of Directors concern- ing problems arising-ln connection with the hospital.

the year was read by the treasur- er which showed a marked in- crease in the amount of giving. A donation of 35.00 was received from the Mission Bank which was grate- fully acknowledged. and a substan- tial sum was realized through the mite boxes. A sum was voted to- wards the Presbyterial fund. A large number of visits to sick and shut-ins was reported. The meeting closed with the hymn. "Christ of all my Ho es" and the Mizpah benediction i unison.
