Wile I was at the mine a shaft was sunk to a disiauce of ten teet, and a large vem about one fvot in depth and five feet wide was struck with every indication of heavier veins lower down.” An assay of the ore taken from this mine, made by Messrs. Donald & Chapman, of Toronto, gives 67 per cent. of pure copper. This is richer, by 25 per cent., than the well-known Stobie mine of Sudbury.
