c The regular quarterly meeting of the Clerical Society of the Church of England was held yesterday afternoon in the rectory at Alberton, and various mst ers c mnected with the church were discussed ty the clergymen present.

In the evening anable and eloquent sermon was preached by the Rev. T. B Reagh, rector of Milton, fram the text “Walk in Love.” The rev. gentleman spoke strongly upon the impertance ot charity of thought and unity of action on the part ot church members.

Chis forenoon the convention held a meeting and discusted the needs of the Chureh at Alberton and throughout the

Province in respect particularly to finances. Mr. Justice Fitzgerald, President of the Convention, oceupied the chair. Rey. Vessra. Forbes, R-agh, Harper, and Messrs. F. L. Haszard, Woodman, Webb, Coles and Horne took part in the disenssion. A resolution calling for statistics in respect to each congregation in the Province was passed,
