Notes from Dundas.

The harvest is about finished here in about as good a condition as ever it was, with the exception of afew patches of late | green oais here and there unreaped. The} wheat and oats promise a good yield. Po- tatoes are a fair crop. It is to be hoped that farmers will get remunerative prices for them. Threshing and ploughing are the order of the day now.

Mr. McDougall’s vessel is nearly finished, and is expected to be launched early next month. She will probably be loaded with oats from here.

The roads and bridges are in good sub- stantial repair around here, notwithstand- ing the squeaking of the grit organs.
