This past weekend we had Four delegates go to the ACES (Atlantic Conference of Engineering Societies). Conference in Frederiction. This trip was a huge success and a wild rip for all who attended.

Topics discussed were the environment, a Constitution to be used as a guideline, and we received the chance to find out what other associate and accreditated universities were doing within their societies.

Aside from that, there were many "extracurricular" events that were in store for us. A very good time was had by all and a very rough trip home was had by some (we won’t mention any names!)

Five Questions to Ask the Front Desk . at a hotel during an Engineering Conference.

1. What power grid is this hotel on and can we hook up to your main line?

2. What is the volumetric size of your rooms and are they water tight?

3. How much heat is required before the sprinklers kick in and how do you turn the damn things off?

4. If we were to call the fire dept. right now, how long would it take for them to get here? Hypothetically Speaking!

5. How much are your TV’s worth and are they covered under your insurance policy.
