I am hOping that everyone had the chance to read the '

artical "Who Wrote It" by Gus Hillstrom in the last edition of the Sun. If you have not and intend to v contribute articals to the Sun, I suggest you take a .

moment to read it. Vol 15, issue u, pg. 5

Mr. Hillstrom voiced many of the concerns I had when taking over as editor of the UPEI Sun. As an editor I will have to "edit" or "omit" certain articals but much of this editing and omiting can be prevented simply by having people admit their opinions. Mr. Hillstrom had an oPinion, stated it and said whose opinion it was. Thus, if anyone agreed or disagreed with him, they knew whom to address their reply.

There are of course cases where exceptions would be made. Take for example the situation last week of the uproar of rapes here on campus. If'I had received letters from friends of victims, victims themselves, or even someone afraid of becoming a victim, anonymity would automatically be granted on request.

The refference to gossip, abuse and jokes brings to mind the section on the Business Society and View from the Top (Engineers). Some people may find this an unactable use of the Sun, but as a university paper for the student, I feel that this form of literary horseplay has its place. First ite is signed, by an anonymous name perhaps, but I can contact someone if it's contents getS’ out of hand. Secondly it is an amusing outlet which many students look tops who. Thirdly and
