Amendments Regarding the Duty on Oil Yoted Down.

Orrawa, June 56.—In the{Commons yes- terday Mr. McDougall (Cape Breton) brougbt up the matter of the Baie des Chaleurs Railway, epquiriug whether it was true thatthe Intercolonial bad Jost $30,000 in the operation of that road for a tew months.

Hon. Mr, Fielding promised the informa- tion later when the House would’ be asked to make asupplementary vote for the Intercolonial.
