The - ' monthly " , of St. Elisabeth's Aid Society was held Friday evening. May 20th, in the Knights of Columbus Hall. with the president Mrs. F. A. Coyle. presiding. be secretary read the minutes of the last meet- ing. which were approved. The treasurer. Mrs. Ella Connolly, gave her report which showed a substantial balance in the bank. The corresponding secretary re- ported she had sent out cards to various members who were sick. Reports on various 'projects were discussed. and from the last cake sale the sum of 3117.65 was realized. A vote of thanks was tendered to the convener of this Cake Sale. Mrs. J. Frank Mac- Mlllan and her energetic commit- tee for their splendid work in this connection.

The annual envelope collection always held in June will be post- poned until the first week in No- vember. due to the fact that the social welfare will be putting on their annual drive in June this year.

A quilt cover was donated by Mrs. Annie Stewart and the mem- bers plan to have this quilted in the fall and then have a lottery on same.

There being no further business the meeting cious lunch was served by the lunch committee. Mrs. F, A. Coyle, Mrs. Ella Connolly and Mrs. Harry Murphy.
