Now that University is back into full swing, guess what a lot of students have been occupied with? It's not studying or attending classes or even drinking. It's criticizing the university in general and sane have focused their attention on the Student Union.
It is the student's right to be able to
criticize the Student Union,
but some people get carried away. If scmeone leaves a door unlocked there's an article in the paper about it. If
you are left standing in line for five or ten minutes waiting for a beer (Heaven forbid!) write a letter to the editor saying that the bar service is lousy.
I refer you to the "GOD" column, otherwise know as "The watchdog". writing this article have stated that they will be watching the Student Union and when it makes a mistake the article will appear in The Sun telling everyone about it. These people have nothing better to do I guess. Granted, they also say that when the Student Union.does something right, they'll

on the Senior Grai Dance and fcr getting lots of money for our Senior Week.
Our first neeting was held last Wednesday in The Barn and onlv twelve juniors showed up, eleven fron Business.
So where were the rest of you guys?? We want to see lots of Bio, Arts, Science and tome EC.

EDUCATION WEEKEND "

On Friday, September 19th,
approxhnately 20 education
students trekked to Oak Acres Camp in Murray River for an
Outdoor Education weekend. (yes, Esther, there is an Oak Acres Camp).
The purpose of this weekend
was to better acquaint po— tential teachers with the great outdoors in order’ that they may pass on this knowledge to their stu— dents, and to have educa- tion students and faculty come together on a social level.
Students participated in a night hike, a nature walk and an orienteering
markers?) Other activi- ties included a game of soccer-softball in the dark, a rousing game of Trivia, and a social function attended by many enthusiastic students. I'm sure all parti— cipants would agree that the outdoor education- weekend was an enjoy— able experience, en— abling us to learn many things about our environment and to fonn new friendships. ’ Thanks go to our re- source people who todk the time to teach us the many aspects of orien— teering and outdoor education and to all of you who Volunteered your time to organize committees which helped make the weekend a success.
