Mr. Gillis had recently taken up residence in Summerside af- ter residing in Moncton for the past few years. where‘he was employed in clerical work.

He was born in Glen Martin, P.E.I., the son of Mrs. Katie Lexie Gillis and the late Mal- colm iilis and served in Royal Canadian Air Force be- fore and during the Second World War.
