Back just where they started from after splitting the first two games Anchors and Legionaires meet in the third game of the city League baseball semi-finals at the Park diamond this after- noon and to the winners of tn- day's game will go a decided edge in the best-of-flve series.

Predictions of victory came from both camps, last night but the consensus of opinion among the many fans that the game would be another low scoring affair on the same pattern as the previous cori- tests followed and once again "breaks" are expected to fecide the issue.

Charlie Ryan who pitched two magnificent games against McAieer will he ready to take the mound if called upon but followers of the team feel that young "Spy" Ready may get the nod. If he does it will be a battle of lefthanders for the youngster with the hopping fast ball and sharp curves will prove quite a puzzle if his control is right. v

The second game will be on Friday, August 29th. at 4.30 and if necessary. the third and final game on Monday, Labor Day. September lat. at 3 o'clock.
