Norntnc has yet been heard of the schooner ‘‘.Enterprise {which left Rustico on Monday last for this port.. It is sup- posed she swamped in the gale of Wednes- day last. There were on board, Captain Bell and three of a crew.

Wr have received the fall and winter number of Messrs. Doyle & jAdolphi’s Fashion- Guide. It contains 119 pages, and sets forth descriptions and plates of the leading fashions of the day. Ladies should not fai to see it.

Tue‘ stores of Mr. Robert May and M John Wonnacott, situated on Queen Street, opposite the Market House, were entered by thieves sometime between Saturday night and Monday morning. A number of pairs of boots were taken from Mr. Wonnacott’s store, and “ i of goods were taken from Mr. May’s. The thieves entered through the cel- lar at the rear of the stores.
