One oi the surest signs of the Girl Guide movement throughout the world is the decision oi the rec- ent World Conference that the time has come for a second world centre. This centre. to be known as Our Cabana, will be built near Cucrnavaca. Mexico.

The first world centre. Our Chalet. was built in Switzerland in 1932 and since that time count- less Guides and Girl Scouts from all nations have spent many happy hours there. Not only have they enjoyed training. mountain climb- ing and winter sports but. more important still. through living with
