One card of thanks was re- ceived for a treat and several members 'also extended thanks for treats. It was decided to send for one thousand cod'liver oil capsules for school children.
It was moved and seconded that the Institute become a member of the lxama -Jliestival Association by paying the fee of two dollars.
Twenty pennies were collected to send to "Pennies for Friend- ship.” The sick committee re- ported having made four sick visits and treats given.
The school committee reported having visited school. several bills were presented and moved paid.

The regular monthly meeting of the Breadalbane Village W. I. was held at the home of Mrs. Inrne Newson. Monday evening. Feb. 12.
Meeting opened by singing ode and repeating creed in unison. mm call was answered with an exchange of Valentines by ten members and one visitor. Minutes of last meeting were read aPiJNV- ed and signed. Committees then gave their reports and new ones were appointed.

Business meeting adjourned, after which six tables of progrusive auction were in play. Prize winners were: Mrs. Wyman Cairns, Mrs. Bob schur- man, Mr. will Lerurgey and Mr. Burnett Crozier.
Highlight of the evening was an auction sale. very capably conduct- ed by Mr. Robert P. Hogg, which realized the sum of 831.06. A de- licious lunch was served by the hostess and committee in charge.

A number of print remnants received from Eat- on's were passed to the members to be made into bazaar articles. Several bills were paid and the sick committee reported having sent one fruit box and a baby gilt.
Mrs. Clifford Townshend was asked to coniact Mr. Martin re- garding lihe Film Board having a show in the school. Each member was asked to make candy for sale at the show.

A short discussion was carried on regarding the music lessons in the school and the covering which is under consideration for the or- gan. Mrs. Henry Jenkins and Mrs. Gordon Myers were appointed as delegates to the Annual Meeting of the T B League to be held at the Charlottetown Hotel on Wed- nesday, April 25th. Mrs. John MacPhail was named as substit- ute.
It was decided to hold a Croklnole in the Hall on Wednes- day night. March 14th.
The lunch committee for the April meeting will be Mrs. Gordon Myers. Mrs. Robert Jenkins and Mrs. Hedley Jenkins.

The Piusville Women's Institute held their meeting at the home of Mrs. John F. Gallant on March 1st. with an attendance of seven- teen mambers. The meeting was opened by prayer followed by the roll call. which was an exchange of Easter cards. The secretary read the minutes and the treas- urer'a report was approved and signed. followed by the reports of the comrnlttees.

Mrs. J. 8. Allan entertained the members of West Oovehead for the March meeting. Eleven members were in attendance. The usual order of business was carried cut, roll call being answered by an Irish Joke. The school committee reported that a kettle had been purchased for the school. for which the bill was presented and paid. also that they had been unable to secure suitable coat-hooks. It was decided to send away for those.
The sick committee reported one gift of fruit and one of flowers to a member in the Hospital.
A letter of thanks for fruit was received. also a letter from the adopted Institute in Eigland con- veying thanks for raisins sent at Christmas. letters was also read regarding annual meeting of T. B. League, ldueatlon Week. and Red Cross drive. No direct action was taken on those. The Red Cross work completed during the month consisted of: one sweater, one pr. mitt.e.. 2 pr. stockings. one nightdresa and three children's druses.
