The Department of Mathe- matics (U.P.E.I.) organizes annually a Provincial Nethr ematics crupetition to se- lect the five Island stu- dents eligible to enter the Canadian Mathematical Olynr piad. This year the Pro— vincial competition will be written on march 11 fol- lowed by the Olympiad on May 3, 1978.
