IS Excellency the Lieutenant Governor in Council was this day pleased to fix and determine the rate at which ihe amount of' the InVoice of Dutiable Goods imported into this Is- land from the United States of America, shall, in estimating the. duties payable thereon, be reduced into current money of the Island, as follows:—

In all cases where such Invoices shall be made out in Dollars and Cents of the paper currency of the United States. the amount of such Invoice shall be reduced into current money of' this island, by allowing for each Dollar the sum of Five Shillings, and in the like proportion for any fraction of a Dollar; of‘ which all Collcc~ tors of Impost are to take notice and govern themselves accor.
