Mr. D. A. Sharp agreed to take ud the fruit-evaporation industry at the invita'ion of the association, and felt that our early varieties of apples could be made to pay well for dried apples.

C. Clark, B. A., of Bay- view, (o be assistant to the Exbibition Commissioner at Paris for this province, Carried.

A communication was read frcm th- Minister of Agriculture of Ontario show- ing that instead of $10,000 as stated in the Association repert contributed by the government of that province to hor- ticulture, $40,523.93 was paid last year, and $210,923.08 was spent on agricu!tural grante generally, It was decided to re- quest the Provincial Government t» re- store and increase the annua! grant to the As+ocia’ ion.
