The Proprietor ot‘this Jlledicine, otl'ers his services to the afﬂicted, particularly in aﬁ‘ec- tions ot'tbe stomach, as Dyspepsia, Cardialgia commonly called heart-burn, yrosis or Water brash, 816. and in Asthmatic aﬂ‘ectionancipi- out l’hthisis, Fevers, &c.

The result oflong observation has led him to this conclusion. viz. that those persons whose powers of assimilation are enfeebled (no matter from what cause,) most by rapid strides advance towards a diseased state in some ofits varieties.

Promising- thus, he begs leave to observe after repeated trials, he is convinced. that, (if there be a specific medicine for any disease) his chemical Stomachic Mixture approaches the ncarest to one of any he is at present vauaint- ed with.

It is not necessary here to pomt out the im- portance of keeping the stomach in good order.

It is not necessary to explain how, by apply- ing a remedy at once safe and ctlicacious to those suffering ‘under Dyspepsia, Heart-burn or any similar affection the complaint disap-

ears.

It IS not necessary to say, why the morning sickness (it present to that degree requiring: the aid 01. medicine) caused by sympathy with other parts of the system, is relieved by the Chemical Stomaehic Draught. Nor why it removes indigestion and ot'COurse sweetens the breath ; the fact of its givmg' rcliet’in nineteen cases out of twenty, is a sufﬁcient testimony of its merits.

Neither is it necessary to reiterate, wbythat sort 0t colapse, so often experienced by the vo- taries ot‘ Bacchus, (known bycertain tremutoul motions, head-ache, want of appetite, and real l)ehilit_v,) is relieved, and disappear= after ta- king; :1 dose ot'the Chemical Stomachie Mixture: but it may be necessary to say,asa Febrit‘ugc Medicine it bears a palm.

ln casesol' Fever, where hot and dry skin, white tongue, and thirst are present, by adding a single grain of the powder of lpecacuanha ot'three ﬂuid drama (about three tea spoonfuls; to the Chemical Stomachi'c Mixture and dilute

with tepid water, and taken at intervals of from three to six hours the most beneﬁcial ef- fects may be expected from it, while toast wa- ter, thin gruel, or anysimple diluent drink will accelerate its medicinal effects.

To this Medicine are added 12 Pills, 40f which may be taken occasionally going- to bed that notonly have a gentle aperient effect, but: have actually removed severe-pains in the sto- mach, in a short time, and in those Fever: where active purges are improper, these Pills are very valuable.

If to the dose. of the Chemical Stomachic Mixture, diluted as before. a table-spOnnful of wine be added, it converts the draught into one of the most valuable sudoriﬁcs thatcan be used in fevers, for this potent reason, it causqs dia- phoresis without inducing- exhaustion.

Moreover the proprietor,can with conﬁdence recommendthis mixture, as one of the best Vermit‘og‘es (worm medicines)extant. lt‘a tea- spoont'ulot'this Medicine be added to a table- Spoonful ofwater, and administered to a child, suspected to have. worms, every other morning for eightor ten days. The unpleasant symp- toms attending them, particularly the bad breath, pain in the stomach, irregular appetite the short dry cough, and the ahnost daily fever will vanish. In this respect, the mixture isa valuable tamin Medicine, particularly to those residing at a distance from Medical assistance
