Directions,—-Artificial Slate : Mix the powder with pure Boiled Linsed Oil and a little Spirits of Turpentine, to the con- sistency of very thick Paint, and apylying with a common Brush, being careful to keep the mixture well stirred while put- ting it on. One pound will cover ten square feet with two coats.

The Metallic Paints are mixed and put on like an ordinary Paint.
