PosTPONEMENT.—The meeting of the ‘‘Woman’s Temperance Union” is posi- poned till Friday, the 14th, on account of the Lecture in the Y. M. C. A. on Friday, the 8th. The usual business meeting will be held on Tuesday, the 11th, at 3 p. m.

Srreer Brawi.—A sailor and a baker en- gaged in a very lively set-to at the corner of our sanctum at 2 o'clock to-day, and attracted a considerabie crowd. They were both at the time overpowered with alcoholic stimulants. The rounds were few and short between. Shortly the sailor beat a rapid retreat to the rear of the Revere House, where he was visible for some time afterwards huffing a Mongolian nose. One of the ‘‘ nineteen” appeared when the matter was settled.
