Congratulations to ten remarkably talented young Canadians! They are the National Champion...and the Provincial Cham- pions...of the Five Roses Young Canada Bake-Offs for 1963. Each girl was brought to Toronto to take part in the ﬁnal competition of this year’s Young Canada Bake-Offs. The honour was awarded to Jean MacDonald of Monoton, N.B., who won a $1,500.00 Educational Grant. and an inscribed silver rose bowl trophy.

Previously. each girl had been named Homcbaking Champion of her province in competitions held in Eaton‘s of Canada stores all across the country.

One hundred girls, ten from each province, took part in the
