American Goldfinch House Sparrow

In the wee hours of Sept. 29‘”, tropical storm Juan hit Charlottetown with sustained winds over 120 km per hour and gusts of 140+ km per hour. Many historic trees were split off or toppled roots and all. The storm covered much of Queens and Kings counties. The weather this autumn has been very mild with only a few days of frost in plowed fields up until November 30th. A strong easterly gale took brought a number of Dovekies to our shores.

An incredible display of northern lights occurred in the early evening hours on Oct. 30 (EMa).
