Sunday, the 30th uit., was an interesting day to the members of theSummer School. In the evening Rev. Dr. Borden of Sack ville, N.B., preached in the Methodist Church on the “Relation of the School to Political morality.” Monday was varied sunshine and shower but notning 10 inter~ fere with the work and enjoyment of the School, In the afternoon while some ex- amined the books for plants, others the banks of the Restigouche for geoegical specimens, the mzjority accepted the in- vitation of Silmore Shives, E-q, to visit his extensive lumber mills. The evening was devoted to the discussion of Astronomy led bv Mrs. Lewis of Hampton, N.B.
