Joint Laymen's Meetings Are Seen As Significant

A significant meeting in the. annals of Island church history | occured over the weekend when | the men of the United Church and the men of the Baptist church came together in joint sessions at Stanhope and Dalvay. The U.C. Men were hosts to the Baptists at Stanhope while the Baptists in turn extended the same couresy to their Christian brethern at Dalvay.
