At an adjourned meeting of the Summerside Town Council, Mayor Robinson ‘presiding, a. resolution iviis passed to raise the amount of the grant to the Prince County Hospital from $200.00 to $400.00.

Mr. C. Ross MacKenzie was ap- pointed Town Clerk, the appoint- ment to take eﬂect on January 1.

Police Officer Peter White, who has been acting in the capacity of Chief since the resignation of Chief Kiiwh. was appointed Chief of Police for the Town.

Miss Scales was the daughter or the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Scales of St. Eﬂeanoi-s. Mis Scales was a. graduate nurse and was for many years on the star! of the Bonnie ‘Burns Sanatorium at Scotch Plains.
