The complete novel in the November iesue of Lippincott’*, “A Triple Entangle- ment,” by Mre Burton Harrieon, bas its scenes mainly in Spain and England. The hero is an American, whose course of true love does not by any means run smooth, but leads hin into safe harbor at last. The tale is one of this favorite author’s best, and perhaps the longest that bas ever appeared in Lippincott’s. “Mercer’s Best, Shot,” as described by Joseph A Altsheler was a very remarkable shot indeed, at an enemy whose shadow only could be seen.
