Parneli’s Faneral. Dustin, Oct. 9.

It has been decided that the funeral ceremonies of Parnel! will be held at the cemetery at Glasnevin, three and a half miles north of Dublin, on Sunday next. The body will arrive at Dublin on Sunday morning ard will be taken in state from the City Hall. From there the funeral will proceed.

Fire in New York.

New York, Oct. 9.

A fire yesterday destroyed the five-story brown stone mansion, 101 Fifth Avenue, owned by Mrs. Hayward Cutting, and oc- cupied by Mr. and Mrs. August PB linont. Mr. Belmont was not at home, but his wife and child were living there. The servants had very narrow escapes from death. The house was filled with costly furniture aad tapestries. The building was eompletely gutted. The loss is estimated at $200,000.

The Behring Sea Affair. Orrawa, Oct. 9.

The Rritish Commissioners on the Behring Sea matter are expected to return this month. The Premier had a communication from Sir William Dawson stating that delegates had full and ample opportunity to make any investigation desired, and they speak highly of the courtesy of Russian and American officials.
