Thirteen American fishing vessels are said to be ashore on Cape Breton, near Port Hood.— Many others that rode out the gale have suffer- ed the jossof rigging, chains and anchors, A ‘ishing vessel belonging to Portland, Me., is eaid to bave been totally lost with all hands, fourteen in number.

The Packet Boat Princess Victoria, from St. Joha. N. F. with the Mails for Harbour Grace, Coscepiion Bay, and the Cove, is reported to de totally lost, with all her crew. &e.

The Viceroy from Quebec for Liverpool, was totally lost on Saint Paul’s Island on Mon- day last; crew seved.
