The Montague Shmohawks whip- ped the short-handed Murray Har- botir Bruins 21-8 in an exhibition hockey game at Montague last night bciore a large crowd otspec- tators.

The regular monthly meeting or the Montague sub-division O. W. L. was held Sunday night at the home of Mrs. P. J. Macxenna. There were 17 members present. The meeting opened with prayer by Rev. Father Maccardle. P.P. The minutes 0! the previous meet- ing were read and approved.

The treestiry report was read showing a substantial increase in funds. It was decided to take up a collection for flowers for the altar at Easter. The ladies of New Perth were appointed to have the church in readiness at Easter, to- gether with the help of other members.

It was moved and seconded that contributions be sent to the Sisters of Martha and also to the Miss- ionaries oi Mary. A sum of 3150.00 was given Father Maccardle to buy church goods.

The next meetting is to be held at the home or Mrs. H. J. Hynes.
