Great Cormorant - l in the Valleyfield Road area well away from water on Feb. 29 (SW). About 60 in patches of open water off Launching on Mar. h (WEC).

Goshawk - l seen feeding on a Starlin at Mrs. Irene Craig's on St. Clair Ave. in Charlottetown on Mar. 3 (fide GH). A possible bird of this species was sighted on St. Peter's Island on Mar. 8 (DKC, WEC, GH).

Sharp-shinned Hawk — l in Mrs. Irene Craig’s yard on St. Clair Ave. on Feb. 13 (fide GH).

Bald Eagle — 2 adults seen in Montague—Commercial Cross area on Feb. 18 (WEC).

Gray Partridge - a covey of h at Milltown Cross in early March (LA).

Barred Owl - 1 at Kilmuir on Mar; (S W). " I A _ .

Belted Kin fisher - l at Knox's Dam on the South Mbntague Road all winter until at_Ah‘ mm. m. -

Horned Lark - 8 seen at Vernon Mar. 12. Several more, possibly including the same ones were seen in Orwell and Cherry Valley on the 13 of Mar. (JW).

Brown Creeper - l in Milltown Cross in,early March (LA).

Robin — 3 to b have been spending the winter in Georgetown (fide JW).

Bohemian Waxwing — 1 at Mrs Alex MacKinncn's feeder ‘r

Red-winged Blackbird - l in Kilmuir on Feb. 29 (SW). 3 at a feeder on North River Road on Mar. 3 (GH) . 2. at a Feeder in Orchard Hill Park during the week of Man. 10 (KL).

Common Grackle - h at a feeder on North River Road near CHTN Radio on Mar. 3 (GH).

Brown- headed Cowbird - h males consorting with House Sparrows in Montague on Mar. 1 (JW). 3 in Kilmuir on Mar. 2 (SW). 6 at a feeder on North River Road near CHTN 'Radio on Mar.3 (GH). 5 males and 2 females at Mrs. Alex MacKinnon's feeder in Georgetown from last week of February on.l

Song Sparrow - l in Georgetown on Mar. 5 (JW). The individual wintering at the Holman feeder on North River Road began singing on Feb. 26 and has continued since (GH).

Snow Bunting — about 125 near the Summerside air base on Jan. 27 (GH and WEC). S in

a flock of Starlings in Hampshire on Jan. 27 (GH and WEC). 12 at York Point on

Feb. 29 are reported to have been around most of February (GH). 3 flocks of 30,30 and SO seen in the Summerville — Albery Plains area on Feb. 29 (WEC). 150 at Brudenell

on Mar. 5 (JW).

West River Causeway at St. Catherine's - 1 male Mallard, 110 Black Duck, 1 male allard — Black Duck hybrid, 100 Common Goldeneye and 25 Common Merganser (Mar. 8, DKC,WEC,GH). -
