We've all heard the song Let's Talk About Sex... but when was the last time we did it?

Last Thursday, UPEI students were treated to a night with Sue Johanson when the veteran sexpert graced our gym with her sensual savoie faire.

The celebrated talk show host gave a humourous diatribe on how our culture reacts to sex and the effects it has on children... who eventually grow to become university students.

She honed in on how the two sexes react after being told that mastur- bation is not a socially acceptable prac- tice. She said males just ignore the words of caution and continue their anatomical activities, while females react quite differently. They stop grati- fying themselves because they are peo- ple pleasers. Oh, the irony.

The favourite guest of David Lettermen also suggested that sex edu- cation in high schools does not cover the parts of female reproduction as in- depth as they do for males. She said because of this, women don't really know themselves and are not as com- fortable with their bodies.

Tidings of great joy were also brought to those of the male population who are, shall we say, not blessed with great endowments. Johansen happily reported to males that the greatest num- ber of nerve endings in the vagina are at the base, where the penis is inserted and not in the deeper regions.
