A fibre made from casein is an outstanding new synthetic substance, extracted from skim milk by the ivonders of modern chemistry. It is a by-product of skim milk and can be blended for hats with wool or fur in varying proportions. The new casein fibre which lends itself to so many uscs is called “Aralac.” It is more expen- sive than rayon or cotton and less expensive than fur or wool. Processing of fibre from milk is not new.
