‘IIE Commander-in-Chief has much pleasure in expressing the satisfaction with which he witnessed the general con- duct of the Town and Royalty Companies of the First Queen's County Regiment of Militia while undergoing the 8 days training from which they have just been dismissed.

The spirit exercised and the attention shown by those who obeyed the cell ofduty in this the first Regiment of Militia mustered for training were most creditable and praiseworthy,

To Lieut. Col. Mctiill and the Officers of the Regiment the best thanks of the Commander-in-Chief are due for the atten- tion and zeal they have shown in acquiring a knowledge of their profession and the performance of their duty.

D., Surrogate, Judge of Probate, &c, the, &c. g T IIEREAS upon reading the Petition ofllenry Longworth and Charles Kennedy, Esquires, Administrators of the said Estate, now on file, setting forth, that the personal pro-.- perty of the said Deceased was insullicient to ,ay off the debts due by the said Estate, and praying that _ icense may be granted to them to sell the Real Estate of the said Deceased, for the payment of the said debt; and also, upon reading a certified copy of the Inventory of the Real and Personal pro- erty of the said Deceased, also on file, and annexed to the said Petition : Now, therefore, I do order that the parties inter- ested in the said Estate do appear before me, in the Court House ofthc Colonial Building, in Charlottetown, in the said Island. on Monday, the twenty-ninth day of April, instant,at noon of the same day, to show cause, ifany they can, why the prayer of the said Petition should not be granted; and 1 do further order. that a. true copy of that order be published in the Royal Gazrtle newspaper of the said Island, for at least three con- secutive weeks from the date hereof, so that all parties in~ terested in the said Estate, may have notice thereof.
