VILLAHERMOSA, Mexico (AP)—A stake truck cefrying a church group. to a festival skid- ded on wet pavement and plunged into a water filled ditch Monday, killing 10 and seriously injuring 21.

Police said highway regula- tions forbid the use of stake trucks to transport people and the. trip was being made in the early morning hours to avoid detection.

The Evangelical Church of the village of Ocuapan had chart- ered the truck to take members | to a naive Sanchez Magal- lanes on coast, police said. ae
