The officers and members are cooperating with the Rebekah Sisters in a banquet to be held next week. Bro. Mac- Donald reported that arrange- ments have been finalized in con- nection with the annual church parade to be held on May 1st to the -Presbyterian Church. A more complete report will be given next meeting night. The Noble Grand complimented the Brothers from outside the town on being present notwithstanding the adverse travelling conditions.

.."i'Al.lNTED PERFORMERS -A group of talented dancers and singers. pupils of Mrs. Douglas MacGowan. Montague. have been approved for a prospective one-

televislon. They were auditioned at Mrs. MacGowan's dance studio in Montague by Mr. Hubert But- ton of Moncton. program director of the television station. The pupils. ranging in age from eight to sixteen years. put on a per- formance which was termed "ex- cellent" by Mr. Button. He also commended highly the costumes worn by the children for their various numbers. For the audit- ion. the group put on a variety of ballet. tap, Hungarian, Irish and Scottish dances. The pro- program was interspersed with Scotch. Irish and French songs by the talented youngsters. The per- formers were children from Mon- tague. Murray River. Fortune and Charlottetown. all pupils of Mrs. MacGowan who is a former Canadian champion dancer.
