We learn that a slight improveme nt has taken place in the price of oats for delivery at French ports. The price new quoted is} eighteen shillings per quarter of 304 pounds, cost, freight aud insurance. This rise, how- ever, is probably owing to the unfavorable news received from Egypt, that further com- p'ications were likely to arise. The advance may only be temporary as, in the face of the heavy crops everywhere, it is impossible for a | high price to be maintained.
