The UPEI Theatre So- ciety prepares to tread the boards once more this week- end with their performance of An Evening of Theatre. Just as in every spring semester the Theatre Society does a major production, suchas last year’s production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsum- mer Night's Dream directed by Ron Irving (see front cover), in every fall semester the Theatre Society does An Evening of Theatre.

An Evening of Thea- tre is an evening of one act plays, directed by members of the Theatre Society. Last year three plays were staged: Lucille Fletcher’s Sorry Wrong Number, Stephen Bragg’s Sex Lives of Superheroes, and Carol Bolt’s Maurice: A Rock Musical.
This year the Theatre Society will be proud to present Tyrone Guthrie’s The Birth- day Message directed by Rebecca Lake, and Oscar Wilde’s Salome directed by
