An item in Thursday's Guar- dian was in error when it quoted Byron Burns, Charlottetown .as saying the cornerstone of the old West Kent School building now demolished was laid in 1858. The correct date, as he observesd, was 1878. Mr. Burns was refer- ring among other things to the fact that a number of old coins were placed in a cavity in the stone.
