SUMMERSIDE A coron- er's jury last night found that Herman Edward Adams. a na- tive of Ellerslie. came to death on the night of Oct. 8. 1963 at approcimately 7 pm. while enroute to Prince County Hospi- tal as a result of injuries receiv- ed when an automobile which he was operating was in collision with an automobile driven by Lowell Cotton.

The next thing she recalled was seeing “this car coming to- wards us straddling the white line". She was quite sure at the time. she added. that the oncom- ing car was going to pull over. but at the last moment her son said “look out, he is going to hit us“

Upon cross-examination by Mr. McMahon. Mrs. Cotton said she didn't recall giving investi- gating RCMP Constable Fred Connolly a statement on the 11th of October in which she said she didn't recall anything exoept that the accident had happened on the Western Road.
