Student Union Awards -- Memorial Bursary Fund For Students With Disabilities

To be eligible for this bursary, a student must:

(1) Be in financial need

(2) Be registered as a full-time student at UPEI

(3) Submit a letter describing the disability

(4) Have a letter of recommendation written in light of your disability

Application forms may be picked up at the Registrar’s Office. Applica- tions and documents are to be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by Febru- ary 9th, 1996.

Sister Mary Gabriel Memorial Bursaries (7 Bursaries @ $500 Each)

The annual ‘‘Sister Mary Gabriel Memorial Bursaries’ are to be awarded to Island students* enroled in the School of Nursing at the Univer- sity of Prince Edward Island.

The bursaries shall be awarded by application to the Scholarship and Awards Committee on the basis of financial need and scholarship, as well as a further description of the student’s situation in the form of a letter accom- Panying the application. :

Application are available at the Registrar’s Office or at the School of Nursing. Deadline for application is February 9th, 1996.

* For the purpose of this award, Island residency is defined as having Spent a significant portion of one’s life on PEI. Good Luck !
