Performance . tA three-act play, ”Wss This Murder'!". was presented in

Snuris Parish Hall on Monday. April ll. On Tuesday. April 19. a repeat performance was pre- sented in Vernon River to s capac- ity audience.

The talented cast was under the able direction of John D. Mac- lntyre, who also took part in the play. Beautiful furniture. which made the stage setting look most natural was generously supplied by the firm of. Crockett and Storey. The Souris Players acted their parts in a manner which gave evidence of their ability to portray the characters for which they were cast.

A number of fine specialties were presented between the acts to the evident amusement and enjoyment of the audience.

Death of Mrs. G. W. Mitchell

The death occurred in the Prince Edward Island Hospital yesterday after a short illness of Mrs. George H. Mitchell of Truro, fonnerly Miss Mary Farquharson. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Farquharson. of this City at the age of 45.

Son of Former CII'lown Couple Killed In Crash

wn couple was one of two killed unday when an R.C.A.F. T-33 jet training plane crashed in a field about four miles north of the R.C.A.F. station at Mount Hope, and five miles south of Hamilton, Ont. R.('.A.l'i officials said the two men aboard were killed. The plane, on a routine training flight with a pilot instructor and a student. apparently plunged to the field while coming in to land at Mount Hope.
