Hi! Welcome to your final year at U.P.E.I.! You’ve made it this far, so don’t stop now! Get geared up for a great year! My name is Melanie Johnston, and I have been elected as your Senior Class President. Iam a Psychology major, and have been involved with the Student Union for the past three years. My right hand (and sometimes my left!) is Shannon Trainor, who was elected as Senior Class Vice President. She is a Psychology/Biology major, and has also been involved with Student Union over the years.

We may bea small executive, but we’re planning for a big year! If you are interested in joining the Senior Class Execu- tive, nominations open on October 4th for the positions of Treasurer and Secretary. You can pick up nomination forms from Betty at the Barn. Senior Class 50/50 Draws are already underway. They are held every Friday at the Movie Pub in the Panther Lounge. Lucky winners to date are Shane Gal- lant ($21.00) and Junior Gallant ($64.00). Come on down and buy a ticket... the more tickets sold, the more money to be won.

Heckbert Studios will be on campus from Tuesday, Novem- ber 17th to Friday, November 27th. Keep watch in the X- Press and around campus for information and sign-up sheets. Plans are in the works for some fun-filled events, and there’s talk of a Senior Class trip being organized.

INTER-VARSITY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

IVCF is having a small group this year. We are going to get together and learn from the Bible Friday nights at 7:00PM. This week’s meeting is going to be held in room 412, Bernadine Hall (on campus).

Also, we are going to be having a car wash Sept. 26th at McDonald’s from 10:00 - 2:00 and we need lots of help. Thanks!
